Team

I've been a running training mentor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Team in Training since 2013.  There is nothing like seeing a team of people chase and accomplish their first marathon and raise money for an important cause.  Not to mention, I've built lasting friendships, discovered our city, and re-connected with nature.

I love to celebrate and recognize people's milestones  - big and small - and seek out meaningful ways to be part of my family, friends, colleagues, and clients’ journeys.  I'm invested in people - whether it means skydiving together, celebrating over a good meal, or working through a challenge.

I actively contribute to community initiatives and decisions that will open paths for our next generation, which includes my role as the Chairman of the Board of Governors for Concordia University, a term that extends through 2017.  I believe that providing opportunity for our next generation is one of the most important legacies we can leave behind. 

I believe life is about learning, exploring and discovering ourselves, so I try to turn challenges into experiences I can learn from.  Whether I’m hiking in the mountains and persevering through a tough climb to the top, or knowing when and how best to invest in a bad stock market.  Sometimes tackling a challenge and learning from it is as simple as keeping one foot in front of the other and keeping your eyes open to the possibilities.

I hit the jackpot with Belay Advisory.  I was seeking a team with camaraderie, laughter, and a strong work ethic.  I'm living my mantra - Doing our best today sets us up well for tomorrow.

I'm motivated by happiness and opportunities to get active.  I organized a walking club for my friends and colleagues to get everyone outside and enjoying one another.  It gives us each pause to appreciate our lives and a breath of fresh air so we are primed to tackle each new opportunity.

I strive to keep learning, whether it be my education in marketing or refining my skills as a painter (I've even sold a few!). It keeps me on the path of trying to always be better than I was the day before.

I am driven by excellence, creativity and passion for the arts. One of my creative works rewarded me with a shopping spree weekend and was published in a fashion magazine across Canada.
